Little Seasons
In our modern calendar, there are 12 months in one solar year and four seasons. In ancient agriculture calendars, each month is divided in half and these halves are each divided again, into three little seasons. So there are 72 little seasons. In each of these little seasons, plants enter new cycles, insects act differently, animals change their behavior, weather shifts: No. 35 Yuzu Girl, No. 7 Blackbird Boy. Each book is ~100 words, an exploration of each of these hidden seasons, in the small moments and silent transitions that make up a year.
